Process Simulation

Many companies now offer industrial process simulation software, such as ProSim, that can model your process and simulate what would happen under both normal and unusual operating conditions.

Using this software as the source of your visualisation data, you can create a virtual plant that operates under the same rules as the real thing, but with simulated data.

You can see how your plant, process and product would react under different conditions without endangering your plant or even taking it offline. You can also train operators in a simulated plant that shows the real concequences of their actions.

Physical Simulation

Most modern plant design includes 3D modelling.

Using these models, we can create virtual versions of your plant. You can walk through these models in real time to explore possible problems with the design or train your staff before the plant has been built.

You can even model complex machinery with moving parts and see how well they respond to user control - this allows you to correct any design issues before they become incredibly expensive to fix.

Control

Communication between your plant and your virtual environment isn't just one-way.

Your actions in the virtual environment can have real world or simulated results - you can enter your site and take control of your hardware from the other side of the world.

Press a button in the field and you can watch your process react in real-time, exactly as if you were really there.
